FAQ & Cancellation Policy

• The fee for a U.S. Passport.
• Meals not specified in itinerary are on your own.
• Activities and tours not specified in itinerary are on your own.
• Group event tickets for optional activities, etc ir ao site.
• All tips for the waiters, drivers and guides (we will collect as a group for each activity/meal).

• Accommodations if you wish to arrive earlier or stay later than the dates indicated.
• Any shopping or excursions outside what has already been planned.
• Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) not listed in the itinerary.

Q: Passport Required?
A: YES! – a US Passport is required. If you do not have a US Passport, you should apply for one as soon as possible. It can take up 3 months to process and receive. However, you do not need to have a US Passport to hold your spot. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

Q: Visa Required?
A: Nope! Visas are not required for American citizens (holder of regular passports) before arrival in Portugal.

Q: And, how am I getting there?
A: Due to the highly anticipated attendance of Brown Boy Bond, brothers will be traveling to this event from all around the world.  All guests should arrive at your US destination (TBD) no later than 4 hours prior to departure. Because, flying internationally requires a longer check-in process, it is important that you arrive early enough to prepare for any interruptions. We are not responsible for individuals who miss their flight(s).  The US Departure location will be announced soon.

Q: When is deadline to register?
A: Register Now! After all, this is the 1st Annual “Brown Boy Bond Global Connection,” so the BUZZ is making new waves! Please refer to the Payment Center for additional details.  We do plan to SELL OUT!

Q: Do I have to pay for the “Meet-up” in full?
A: You do have several payment options.  Yes, we make it just that convenient for you! **Prices are based on Double Occupancy.  For Single Occupancy rates contact us at:  info@brownboybond.com. Monthly payments are due by the 1st of each month. Please refer to the Payment Center through your Brown Boy Bond Dashboard/Profile (after you register).

Q: Do you recommend purchasing travel insurance?
A: YES! If we can tell you anything…after traveling the world to multiple destinations, we have learned that anything can happen – whether it is within your control or beyond! So, we strongly encourage every guest to purchase travel insurance to be certain that your investment is protected. We are NOT responsible at any point for refunds. Q: I want an extend my “Brown Boy Bond” Experience. Is that even possible?
A: YES! It is possible that the group hotel rate is available outside dates of group travel at an additional cost. However, to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact us directly at: info@brownboybond.com.

Q: I want to go, but I’m Solo – HELP?!
A: Ultimately, you are responsible for finding your own roommate.  That’s if you even want one!  When you register, you will be asked to enter the name of your roommate. However, if you cannot find a roommate, the Logistics & Operations Team will work with you to identify a roommate, so the both of you are safe and comfortable (and save money!) We will be sure to introduce the two of your prior to the trip so that you can begin to build that BOND! Single Occupancy is an additional cost.

While you may cancel your trip, for whatever reason, please be advised that Brown Boy Bond, LLC is NOT responsible for any refunds. All payments are non-refundable, including the initial deposit, land and airfare packages, all other event tickets purchased. Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended when making travel plans. Disclaimer Prices listed are per person, and are based on double and single occupancy. All Taxes and Fees are included, unless otherwise noted. Tips and gratuities are not included. Rates and availability are subject to change and may not be available for desired dates of travel. Prices are not guaranteed until the deposit or full payment has been made on your booking and you have received a confirmation Brown Boy Bond. Additional restrictions from various suppliers may apply. Space is not guaranteed until payment is received. Recurring payments are based on the initial deposit date, and shall be paid upon receipt of your invoices. In the event that there is a return for insufficient funds, the payee is responsible initial payment and for any additional charges and incurs a fee of $150 fee for non-payment and charges/fees on our end. This insufficient fee is not included in the payment towards your investment towards the Lisbon Global Connection!
